My master thesis, spring '23, ventured around spending countless of hours in a basement-room of University, developing live visuals for concerts while utilizing a Kinect for point-cloud data. Me and my co-writer Abderrahman Mhadden ended up with a really succesful concert at Basement in Copenhagen testing out the project.
Creating these interactive visuals brings emotion and visual depth to a concert. And it is very fun at the same time.
The project is developed mainly in Touchdesigner and includes projector setup and light integration.
We are now both able to do VJ sets or interactive installations.
Shows: Basement CPH in May '23, at Beta in August '23, RÃ¥huset in Febuary '24, Nordic Noise Festival and Stengade in May '24.
I have done the visual interactive design for this project. Working with incoorporating the pointcloud data from the Kinect into Touchdesigner and creating an, also for me, interactive controlpanel for the variables of these visualizations. I have also created 2D handdrawn animated gif's to utilize as layers so much so that the band Lady used my design for their single "Whole Lotta Pretty"

A design made for the band "Lady"'s single "Whole Lotta Pretty" released everywhere on the 16th of August '23.
It's based on the visuals I created for their live shows with a gif of a moving hand.
The band decided to use this design for their first "album" called Dirty Roses released on Spotify in April '24.
For these I used Touchdesigner, Adobe Illustrator and Clip Studio Paint.
I spent some time developing interactive content to a projected floor. It is made with Touchdesigner and MadMapper.
One version is to emulate Aurora when walking across the floor. Another is to make an interactive ripple-water effect of two layers and even a black hole.
I have been volunteering to the EIWAZ TREE OF LIFE project created by Martine Jarlgaard. It is an AR app that makes you create a tree and save it. When you have completed this small segment a real tree will be planted in Borneo or the Philipines. I have helped with tech consulting and website redesign for the project and for Martine Jarlgaard.
Check it out here EIWAZ TREE OF LIFE and Martine Jarlgaard.
I have used Adobe Dreamweaver and a FTP server software along with Photoshop, Illustrator and Clip Studio Paint for editing images. I have utilized HTML and CSS for both these projects and additionally this website you are looking at is also modified by me.
Me and 5 others created a small 1st person adaptive game over a 6 month period. It used A.I. to do sentiment analysis based on the players text input.
Each scene had a "positive" or "negative" version and at the end of each scene the user was asked a question, and based on this answer the game would send you to the next scene version.
The versions where based on color theory and other analysis of wellbeing.
Besides sentiment analysis research and gamedesign I was in charge of concept sketching, world building, 3D modeling and shader programming. It was created in Unity and by the help of Github.
I joined rehearsals and shows of a Real Time Rokoko hologram dance concert piece at DR in june '22 called Bella Ballerina as part of a bigger cartoon theme. "Streger og Toner".
The show included a big holographic screen infront of the orchestra where then the dance 3D model of the live dancer was projected. Stage setup was done by Vertigo.
The visuals was created in Unreal by animator and multicreative Rune Søgaard.
